Celebrity connections to mediocre whiskey at premium prices are meaningless.

150 hell no. 75 still hell no. NAS... Low proof... Lol... 45 I might try if someone told me it wasn't bad. Don't care for Jim or his dry comedy. He is all over on bourbon stuff last few months, trying to jump on the bandwagon, only a little late, maybe 4 or 5 years late? Lol. Easy pass all day.

Interesting as this one has gotten mixed reviews. More than not say the finish falls off and dries out. A bit astringent on the finish. Cinnamon seems to be a common theme as well as the spiciness and heat. Guess that’s why everyone’s pallet is different! 😊. Thanks for another good review!

Jim Gaffigan has never made me laugh and at $150, his whiskey will never pass my lips.

A bit anticlimactic, but Rare Breed is just that good I guess 😂 I have to try it! It tops the list all the time for “value” and “best bourbons under x.”

Wanted this just for the novelty and because Jim. The videos about it are also just hilarious. Besides, I'm a weary father of four and this is sold as bourbon therapy basically.. But, alas, as always, can't get it in my state! 😐

Have you guys heard of Punchers Chance. It is a celebrity Bourbon and I have 4 of their 5 offerings. I like them . The standard is $35, sib $55 , the 12 yr, 14yr and newest release go for $150 each. I'm a super fan of Bruce Buffer so maybe I'm impartial but the 12 is excellent. Noone I ask has heard of Wolf spirits. They sell bottles from their website. Cheers.

The price and release explains why he has been so out there lately with bourbon content. Like… “Oh. Oh. All that was because you were coming out with a bourbon. Got it.”

Hard pass on this celebrity whiskey. So many fantastic whiskies out there for reasonable prices.

JG went on bourbon pursuit and it just reinforced that celebrity bourbon is just average whiskey with a BS expensive story added. BP guys: Tell us about the actual whiskey in the bottle JG: WELL you see its all about the relationship between a father and son... BP guys: but the whiskey... JG: WELLL you see there's nothing more special than a father and son sharing a dram...

$150 for a celebrity brand....no thanks. As far as celeb brands, Longbranch is the choice for under $40. I think I paid $32 for mine, and that was overseas.

I followed Jim's video series about his bourbon journey and how he got to the point of releasing his own brand, and I was ready to pull the trigger... and then I saw the price. That much for a NAS celebrity bourbon? Yeah, no. Pass. Just like Peyton Manning & Sweeten's Cove, this is gonna sit on shelves and collect dust with this kind of price.

Wonder what the unsigned version will cost.

Pass for me. When I looked into it, I couldn't find much info and the proof for that price. Feels like a celeb that just got into whiskey and now a money grab. IMO.

The same company that makes the $15k Spark also makes the $75k Corvette. So, it makes sense to me that Jim Beam can make a bottom shelf bourbon for $15 and a world class 20 year bourbon for $250. This is a really great format. Thanks guys! How does it compare to the JB Lineage if you guys have tried it?

$49 at Costco in Los Angeles area. The one near me is on sale for $40. Most markets and liqueur stores its at mid 50s to $70.

IMO, RR10 is one of the best values in bourbon. It drinks way above its price and it' a crowd pleaser. It is often on sale for $32 in my part of CA.

President's choice is cask strength, it's just not as high proof as the King of Kentucky releases

I am a firm believer in never including price and availability in reviewing wine and now whiskey. Then you don't get into the trap of over rating products because their main attribute is $ and availability making it hard for people to truly understand what's great. Value and availability are personalized and easily evaluated by the beholder. Domaine Rominee Conti is 100pts no matter how rare or expensive.😊
